ASPEN is the program used to annotate and upload roadside inspections (no more paper inspections), while eRODS is used to inspect the drivers electronic log book. Both programs are going to assist law enforcement to do quicker and more efficient roadside inspections. Prior to the start of the class, students must complete the Rules of Behavior (ROB) which only take minutes to accomplish. North American Standard Part A- Level III Course5 Days ClassroomThe number one cause of accidents in the State of Oregon is driver error.
This course focuses on the level III portion of a level I course. For Troopers and Officers who are primarily stationed on the major highways that pass through Oregon and only want to focus on driver violations (Speeding, log book, CDL issues). This would be a great class to get your level III certification. For inspectors who want to be level I certified this class is required first prior to taking the Part B level I class.

Prior to that he worked as a Safety Specialist in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years.Andy ZikmundAndy is an ODOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Specialist based in Farewell Bend, OR. Andy has been with the Oregon Department of Transportationsince 2008 and has specialized in the regulation, enforcement and education of hazardous materials since 2011.Abe and Andy provide training for nearly 500 regulatory and law enforcement personnel each year.
